UKPE only issues a Parking Charge Notice (PCN) when a driver is found to be in breaches of the terms of parking conditions which are displayed on or around the car park or private land.
Why have I received a Parking Charge Notice (PCN) from UKPE?
The private lands/car parks that are managed by UKPE have clear terms and conditions of parking displayed on signage throughout the Site. If any of the terms and conditions are breached by the motorist, UKPE then reserves its right to issue a Parking Charge Notice (PCN). Motorists can find further information on their PCN outlining why the Parking Charge Notice (PCN) was issued.
The parking terms are displayed clearly on signage at our Sites which are being managed and controlled by UKPE. Motorists who are issued with a Parking Charge Notice (PCN), can either pay the PCN or appeal it, however, you cannot do both!
Motorists should be aware that the non-payment of a Parking Charge Notice (PCN) issued by UKPE may be persued through legal means such as instructing our Solicitors to issue court proceedings and/or instructing a debt recovery agent to persue the outstanding PCN from the motorist.
